SoftScreen is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data.
SoftScreen collects minimal data required for account authentication and subscription management through Firebase. This includes your email address and a unique user ID. Your filter preferences, search history, watch history, and favorites are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any server.
SoftScreen searches for and displays YouTube videos. When you watch videos, your interaction is with YouTube directly through an embedded player. YouTube's own privacy policy applies to your use of their service. We do not track, store, or have access to your YouTube viewing history.
SoftScreen offers optional premium subscriptions managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. All billing is handled by Apple.
We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. Firebase is used solely for authentication and subscription management.
SoftScreen uses YouTube to provide video search and playback functionality. Your use of YouTube content is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. SoftScreen also uses Firebase by Google for authentication and subscription management, subject to Firebase's Privacy Policy.
SoftScreen does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app includes a child lock feature to prevent accidental interactions.
If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
